Old Rapids Milling Company building owned by Don and Peggy Bach at 136 Mill Rd in Manitowoc Rapids was the scene of our book signing location. A heartwarming thanks goes out to those two individuals for renovating my great grandparent’s flour mill and for allowing us to use their home for this special occasion. We appreciated all those local residents who came to participate in this event.

The Flower Gallery at 102 N. 8th Street in Manitowoc on Saturday August 4th, 2018 was the location of a past book signing in Manitowoc. Special thanks to all those who helped celebrate this special occasion by visiting with the authors and some of the storied people in the book, such as music director Charles R. Snyder and United Airline pilot Wayne Sicard. Our very first book signing was held at the Coshocton Elementary School cafeteria in Coshocton, OH. We thank everyone who attended this joyous and fun event.

My wife Marie, son Matt and myself would like to thank all the people who came out to our Bouquet Village residence Sunday August 11th. Music entertainment was provided by songwriter and folk singer Barefoot McCoy, a native of Newark, Ohio. He did a great job of entertaining everyone with a wide range of musical selections, and we heard nothing but praise on his performance that night. We ended up selling a total of 18 books, money which went toward our MERCI Fund we had established at the time for helping people get started in their own lives, including college scholarships to graduating seniors in the spring. Watch for any other book signings when they become available in the future.

A book we released in 2020 is a spiritually reflective book from our entire family cast, a compilation of our past writings, as well as present inspirational writings emanating from our summer trip out to the western part of the United States in 2019. Moments in Time - A Collection of Spiritual Echoes from God’s Creation, helps the reader in reminiscing and experiencing once again some of their own past memories through the stories presented in our book. Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic flare-up, we were unable to hold a book signing event but look forward to making this happen once the environment is conducive to do so.
After a very long hiatus, God put a nudge on our hearts in 2023 to write a faith-based book dealing with adding measured wisdom along side Biblical scripture, to help accent artwork of artists who are family acquaintances of ours and giving the reader spiritual readings and visual artwork to daily meditate upon. The book is titled Forty Days of Measured Wisdom and is out for your reading pleasure, found on our Madfrogbooks.com website.
Also be watching for a book to arrive in July of 2024, a family book entitled We Are Loved, a project that will come from a child’s perspective and what they “bring to the table” in a parent-child relationship. We feel that children sometimes are not aware of what their role is and what they contribute (their purpose) in their family environments. Often times they feel the parent-child relationship is mostly one-sided and they don’t have much to offer to their parents in these relationships.
We are also interested in following through with the process of adding additional faith-based selections from other authors to our stable of self-published books.
